BEIJING – China firmly opposes the report on COVID-19 origins by the US intelligence community and has lodged stern representations with the US side, Vice-Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu said on Saturday.
The Chinese embassy in the US said on Friday that the report is "not scientifically credible".
It added that Washington's assertion of lack of transparency on the part of China is only an excuse for politicizing and stigmatizing purposes.
