India’s demands ‘add challenges to Sino-Indian military talks’

The Indian military insisted on unreasonable and unrealistic demands, adding difficulties to the negotiations, a Chinese military official said on Monday.

The Chinese and Indian militaries held the 13th Corps Commander-level Talks at the Chushul-Moldo border meeting point on the Chinese side on Sunday.

Senior Colonel Long Shaohua, spokesman for the Western Theater of the People’s Liberation Army, said the Chinese side has made great efforts and fully demonstrated sincerity to promote de-escalation of the border situation and maintain relations between the militaries.
