Top legislature finishes handling 8,993 suggestions

BEIJING – All the 8,993 suggestions submitted by Chinese lawmakers to this year's annual session of the National People's Congress (NPC) have been handled, with feedbacks sent to the NPC deputies, according to a report.

The report on the handling of lawmakers' suggestions, criticisms and comments at the fourth session of the 13th NPC was submitted on Tuesday to an ongoing session of the NPC Standing Committee.

Of all the suggestions, total 2,884 pieces were about issues related to people's livelihood, according to the report.
