BEIJING – Chinese President Xi Jinping has congratulated Christine Kangaloo on assuming the office of president of Trinidad and Tobago.
In his message sent on March 20, Xi said that Trinidad and Tobago is China's comprehensive cooperative partner in the Caribbean region, and bilateral relations in recent years have maintained a sound momentum of development, with deeper political mutual trust and closer exchanges and cooperation in various fields.
